We recommended a strong internet connection when conducting Honeit calls through your browser. Unfortunately in some cases certain network issues may hamper your ability to have a clean call and you calls may:

  • sound garbled

  • drop unexpectedly

  • encounter echo or one-sided audio

In most cases, running a network test can help you troubleshoot network issues before they happen. Honeit provides the following network testing tool that you can run:

We strongly recommend prior to conducting your first call in Honeit that you run this test to ensure your network is ready to successfully make calls through Honeit.

We also provide links to this test from within the Honeit Call Dashboard on the connection menu as well as in the footer of your account homepage.

Running the Network test tool

  1. Click on the link above or the β€˜Test your network connection’ link from within the Honeit Call Dashboard connection menu or from the footer of your home page.

  2. This will launch the network test in a new browser tab (as seen below) and will start to show network diagnostics..

    1. Note: You may be asked to provide permission to access your microphone. You can check this in Chrome here.

  3. If any tests display a failure message, please refer to Understanding Network Test Results for an explaination of why a particular test might have failed and how to remedy it.
