Honeit enables downstream scheduling between candidates and hiring managers or clients. This article will guide you through the process of setting up and using this feature effectively.

Please note that guests are hosts that do not have Honeit accounts. They will have limited platform functionality to conduct calls and will not have access to the Honeit call dashboard.

Overview

You can create guest hosts under your account, such as your client or hiring manager. Once the guest host is set up and their calendar is synced with Honeit, they will receive a unique scheduling link that you can share with candidates. While guest hosts cannot access the Honeit dashboard, they can participate in scheduled calls through a conference call setup using a phone number and PIN.

Key Details:

  • Guest hosts do not have access to the Honeit dashboard.

  • Scheduled calls will operate as conference calls with connection details provided (phone number and PIN).

  • The interview dashboard is not available to guest hosts.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to schedule calls between candidates and hiring managers or clients:

  1. Navigate to the Team Settings:

    • Log into your Honeit dashboard.

    • Hover over your username in the top-right corner.

    • Click on "Team" in the dropdown menu.

  2. Add a Guest Host:

    • Scroll down to the Guest Host section.

    • Click on "Add a Guest Host."

    • Enter the guest host’s name and email address.

  3. Invite the Guest Host to Sync Their Calendar:

    • After adding the guest host, send them an invitation to sync their calendar with Honeit.

  4. Share the Scheduling Link:

    • Once the guest host’s calendar is synced, they will be assigned a unique scheduling link.

    • Share this link with candidates for scheduling calls.

  5. Connection Instructions:

    • When a call is scheduled, both parties will receive instructions on how to connect via a conference call, including the phone number and PIN.

Additional Notes

  • Ensure the guest host’s calendar is properly synced to avoid scheduling conflicts.

  • Let the guest host know they will receive connection details via email and that they will not have dashboard access.

By following these steps, you can streamline the scheduling process and create a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers or clients.
