How to Add Notes to Your Call Guide

Use preloaded notes to keep key details at hand during interviews

When preparing for an interview, it can be helpful to have key details front and center without having to switch tabs or dig through files. Honeit lets you add notes directly to a call guide so they automatically load in your interview dashboard when you start the call.

Step 1: Go to Manage > Call Guides

Navigate to Manage > Call Guides. You can create a new call guide or open an existing one to edit it.

Step 2: Add Your Notes

When editing a call guide, you'll see a section called Notes for This Call (marked as optional and visible only to you). This is where you can add anything you want to reference during the interview: compensation details, key qualifications, must-haves for the role, or any other context that will help you stay focused and prepared.

Step 3: Start Your Interview

When you load that call guide into an interview dashboard, your notes will automatically appear in the notepad on the left side of the interview dashboard.

Bonus Tip

That same notepad is also editable during the call, so you can use it to jot down live notes as the conversation unfolds. Think of the preloaded notes as your prep, and the notepad as your scratch pad.
