Overview

Honeit lets you embed videos directly in two places:

  • Scheduling links so candidates see a compelling intro before they book a call.

  • Presentation summaries to add context like a company culture clip or job preview alongside interview highlights.

Supported sources include YouTube, Vimeo, Vine, Instagram, DailyMotion, and Youku. For platforms not on that list, you can paste raw embed code using the HTML toggle.

Embedding video in your personal scheduling link

  • Go to your personal scheduling link, click edit and scroll to the Description section.

  • Click the video icon on the formatting bar.

  • Paste a YouTube, Vimeo, or other supported URL and click Insert Video.

  • The video will render automatically.

  • Once inserted, click on the video in the editor and use the alignment controls in the toolbar to center it. You can also type text above or below the video to add context.

Embedding videos from unsupported platforms

If your video URL isn't supported, you can use the HTML embed option instead.

  • First, get the embed code from your video platform. On Loom, for example, click Share β†’ Embed β†’ Copy Embed Code.

  • In Honeit, click the </> icon in the Description or Presentation Summary toolbar to switch to HTML view.

  • Paste your embed code where you want your video to render, for example at the very top.

  • Click the </> icon again to toggle back to normal view. Your video will render automatically.

  • You can tweak the code to change the size and alignment if applicable.
