Every Honeit presentation link comes with Viewer Access controls, so you decide exactly who can see what. Set the right level of security for each candidate or client in just a couple of clicks.
Types of access levels
Open access (DEFAULT): Anyone who has the presentation link URL can view it.
Email link access: Visitors enter an email address and receive an access link that expires after 24 hours.
Restricted access: Only visitors whose email matches an allowed email or domain can receive access. Wildcard domains are supported, for example
*@honeit.com.Approval required: Visitors request access and the link owner must approve them before they can view it.
Team access: Anyone on your team with the link can view after logging in to a valid Honeit account.
Where to set access levels
There are two ways to create a presentation and you can set Viewer Access with either one.
Instant presentations
Once the presentation is created, click "Customize Link" at the top. Scroll down and set your access level, then click Create/Save to update the presentation link.
Custom presentations
From the call details page, choose the manual option to create a custom presentation. This takes you to the customization page. Scroll down to the Viewer Access section, set your access level, then click Create. This saves and creates the presentation with that access level applied.
You can also set an expiration under Expires, so the link automatically stops working after the period you choose.
Managing access requests
Each presentation link has its own Access requests page, so you manage access one link at a time. To find it for a link that's already created, open the presentation and click "Customize Link" at the top. You'll see the "Manage access requests" dialog at the top.
There you will see the link's current access mode, its expiration and everyone associated with it. Each approved visitor shows an Active status and when their access expires. You can Revoke anyone's access at any time, and it ends immediately.
If the link uses Approval required: you take an extra step before anyone gets in. When someone requests access, you receive an email titled "Presentation link access requested." Click Review Request and log in, and you will land on the Access requests page with the new request under Awaiting review. From there you can Approve or Deny it. Approved visitors move into the list with the others.
