How to Change the Automated Recording Notification for Guests

Customizing the “this call is being recorded” message.

When guests join a Honeit call, they hear a verbal disclaimer (e.g., “This call is being recorded”). This setting can be customized at either the company account level or at the individual user level under your profile settings.

How to Change the Call Recording Prompt (Individual User)

  • Go to your Profile Settings
    Click your profile icon and select Settings from the dropdown.

  • Scroll to Calling Preferences
    Look for the section labeled Calling Preferences.

  • Find 'Call Recording Prompt'
    Under this setting, you’ll see a dropdown menu with various disclaimer options.

  • Select Your Preferred Message
    Choose a prompt that fits your use case (e.g., “Recorded for training...” or “Will be recorded...”).

  • Click ‘Listen’ to preview
    You can listen to each option before making a selection.

  • Your choice is saved automatically
    Once selected, your new prompt will be used for future calls.
