Honeit lets you text candidates and contacts straight from your Honeit number, so you can keep conversations going without handing out your personal cell.
Starting a text
Every text conversation has to be kicked off from inside Honeit. You can't start one from your personal phone.
To send your first text, you need a contact in Honeit:
Create the contact. (If someone was scheduled through Honeit, they're already in your contacts). Make sure it includes their phone number.
Click the contact's name to open their profile.
Go to the Messages tab.
Type your message and send.
That's it. Your text goes out from your Honeit number.
Where replies show up
Once you've sent that first text, replies come back to you in one of two ways:
1) In Honeit (default). Replies land right in the contact's Messages tab and you'll get notified in Honeit. No extra setup needed.
2) On your cell phone (optional). Prefer to get replies as regular texts on your phone? You can, but two settings need to be switched on first, both under Account Preferences:
Turn on call forwarding (under 'Your Honeit Number')
Opt in to receive text message replies (under 'Notification Preferences')
With both enabled, replies will reach your phone as well.
