When adding tools to your daily technology stack, sometimes it is common for an application or extension to change your system's default microphone. (many times without you even realizing :0 )
Unfortunately when this occurs it is possible to lose the ability for others to hear you when connecting to a Honeit call using the browser.
Never fear, this is an easy situation to remedy and it just takes a minute!
Setting your Mac's default microphone
Click on your Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen and select System Preferences.
Double click on the Speaker or Sound icon.
Click on the Input tab. You should now see a list of available microphones...
Select the one that says "Internal" or "Default". This will select your system's built-in microphone.
Test the input volume of the microphone you've selected and adjust if needed using the volume slider while speaking.
If your microphone is able to detect your voice, you are done and may exit your settings.
If you are still unable to detect audio, please restart your system and re-run these steps.
