Capture key moments during a call to add context to your conversations.

What are Skill Tags?

Honeit Skill Tags are specific keywords or phrases that represent key skillsets we look for during interviews. When used, they capture a moment in time when the candidate mentions these skills during the call.

Skill Tags captured during a call allow for efficient searching of particular conversation segments. Keywords, phrases, or topics discussed during the call are indexed and searchable after the call ends. They can also be displayed on candidate presentation links to add additional context to your interview highlights.

Pre-Interview: Adding Skill Tags to Call Guides

While creating a call guide, add Skill Tags under the "Tags" section. These are keywords and specific skillsets that you will listen for during the call. Skill Tags will be available during the interview when the corresponding call guide is used.

Using Skill Tags During Interviews

Skill Tags that have been pre-loaded to call guides will appear on the interview dashboard when you select the relevant call guide.

When a candidate mentions the specific skillset you're interested in, simply click on the relevant Skill Tag to capture a timestamp. In the example below, the candidate mentioned the skill "Prometheus" at the 3:06 minute mark during our conversation.

Please note that each Skill Tag can only be clicked on once.

You can also add Skill Tags on the fly during a call. In the below example, I added the Skill Tag "Docker" when the candidate began talking about their expertise in this area. Once you add the new skill and hit enter, it will automatically be captured as a new tag and timestamped, as seen in the second image below.

Post-Interview: Searching Skill Tags

Skill Tags collected during the call are indexed and searchable after calls conclude. Simply "Search your conversations" to find all occurrences of that keyword within your transcripts, along with the corresponding Skill Tags that were used in previous calls.

Displaying Skill Tags in Candidate Presentations

To display the Skill Tags captured during a call, simply toggle on the "Show" option under "Tags" when customizing your candidate presentation link. You can also add or remove tags from this menu.
