What Is Agent Howie?

After each interview, you’ll now see an "Ask Howie" button on the call details page. Agent Howie makes it easy to surface insights from your interviews. Simply type a question about the conversation and get instant answers without re-listening to the entire call.

Why Use Agent Howie?

  • Save time reviewing calls.

  • Get quick answers without replaying audio.

  • Confirm key details: “What salary range did the candidate mention?”

  • Summarize quickly: “Give me a quick recap of their experience.”

  • Find next steps: “Did we agree on scheduling a follow-up?”

  • Pull out highlights: “What did they say about leading a team?”

  • Check availability: “When are they free to start?”

Pro Tip: Use Agent Howie to prep for hiring manager debriefs or to double-check details before sending candidate presentations.

How to Use Agent Howie

  1. Go to the Call Details page after an interview.

  2. Click the "Ask Howie" button.

  3. Type your question, such as:

    • What were the candidate’s compensation expectations?

    • Does the candidate have frontend experience?

    • What tools did the candidate mention using?

  4. Get a quick response right away.

Best Practices

  • Use Agent Howie for fact-checking details or pulling out specifics from a conversation.

  • It works with any Honeit call that has a transcript.

  • Think of it as a helpful assistant that saves you time digging through transcripts.

What NOT to Use Agent Howie For

Agent Howie is not a decision-making tool. It should not replace your own judgment, notes, or scorecards when evaluating candidates. Always keep humans in the loop when making hiring decisions.
